Digisound Productions is entering it's 18th year in business. Beginning as a project studio in 1995, Digisound has evolved into a commercial audio production company specializing in "on location" recording. Some of our clients include TMEA Regional Concerts, Lamar University Concerts, Symphony of Southeast Texas, Church recordings and professional performance groups boasting our work on their commercial recordings. Our facility takes the product from the recording to digital mixing and mastering.
Both of the owners hold music degrees giving them a high level of understanding when capturing, mixing and mastering music when it comes to obtaining the best final product that is possible. Jeff Payne is a compose, song writer and performer. He holds a degree in music composition and theory. Jack Benson is a composer of contemporary classical music and is on the music faculty at Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music at Lamar University. Both have studied piano for most of their lives and are proficient in several instruments.
Digisound has held the recording contract with TMEA Region X for the past 15 years and is the official recording company for the Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music at Lamar University and the Symphony of Southeast Texas for the past 3 years. In addition, we have provided tracks and mastering for many recording artists throughout the country.
